New Deal Organization (NDO) is a registered non-governmental organization with head- office in Abuja, Nigeria. New Deal Organization has its aim of essentially reaching out to young people, and ultimately, improving the society and lowering the crime rate amongst youths in Nigeria and world-wide as well. New Deal Organization has launched two core programs, PACT (Parents Against Crime Together) and the Y-ACT (Youths Against Crime Together), reaching a good number of Nigerian youths and parants with educational support, job placement, enlightenment campaigns, counseling services, capacity building on criminality, other vices as well as their consequences.
PACT - Parents Against Crime Together
PACT is the programme with a goal to lower the crime rate amongst youths by focusing on family values. The crime fighting should start from the grassroots, at homes. Our objectives are to encourage parents to teach children good moral values, to commit and orient themselves towards a peaceful and steady growth of their children and raise them to excel.
As role models, parents should have a positive impact by having an active role in child’s live, showing them that they are loved and protected, educating them and teaching them good moral values such as Honesty, Honour, Integrity and Patriotism so they can pass it down on future generation.
PACT initiated the Agreement between parents and children to reinforce the responsibilities of parents and children alike. Equally, The Parent’s Guide was adopted to support the role of parents in the lives of their children.
· Y-ACT - Youth Against Crime Together
Y-ACT has its focus on lowering crime rate amongst youths by promoting good morals and habits. Unfortunately it is no longer new to hear about incidences of crimes amongst young people such as: robbery, fighting, pick pocketing, stealing, dangerous driving, un proper dressing, corruption of all kinds, smoking, drinking, drug abuse etc.
With a goal to correct all these unpleasant, indiscriminate and ugly trends, Y-ACT programme is sponsored by New Deal Organization in order to educate and change the mindset of youths, encourage them to practice good morals and habits, with a vision of crime free, drug free and violence free society. This goal can be reached by engaging youths in values and leadership skills programmes, encouraging and support individuals and creating a positive change amongst them.
New Deal Organization (NDO) is a registered non-governmental organization established in the year 2004 in Nigeria by Prince Daniel Kanu. Although our head office is in Abuja, we are operating throughout Nigeria. It is also our vision to establish organization worldwide, and we started with opening offices in USA and Europe (Serbia), with an aim of teaching morality and increasing awareness of the youths in regards to the reduction of crime rate, as well as to minimize the restiveness amongst youths, all with a goal of ultimately improving society.
We have recognized that every country needs a long term strategic approach to nation building, and that caused the formation of the New Deal Organization and its various projects such as Parents Against Crime Together (PACT) and Youths Against Crime Together (Y-ACT). We have decided to take a bottom up approach, by rededicating ourselves to rebuilding the severely eroded family values, and recommitment to our nation.
Realizing that only parents and other concerned role models can positively impact the lives of youth, we are also dedicated to strengthening families through the empowerment of parents. Youths are the future of every country and if we make our youths better, we are making one country’s future better!
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
